living vip at pantheon villas.
Located on the center of Santorini’s caldera view coastline, Pantheon Villa provides guests with the true luxurious experience.
I was greeted by helpful staff, a delicious local dessert wine and a vast view of the entire island. I looked beyond the cliff as I parked my car in the complimentary lot and made my way to the cave reception.
White day beds, beautiful pools and a never-ending view lined my walk to the villa after I checked in. I was in awe with the luxury that surrounded me before I even opened my villa door.
The Interior
My villa was completed with a kitchen, two bedrooms, a full bathroom, and chairs for lounging.
The first level held the kitchen and small bedroom. It was spacious enough to cook and eat in the morning, along with a sunrise view out the windows.
The master bedroom and full bathroom were found on the second level. When I wasn’t in the pool beds, you could find me here. The bed was big and comfortable – just what you need after a long day in the sun.
The Exterior
My room was beautiful on the inside, but as I say, Santorini is all abut enjoying your time outside. Up the marble staircase and outside the bedroom was a balcony door that led to every vacationers’ dream.
The balcony had a dining area and chairs with a perfect view for the sunset. To the left, I found a private jacuzzi on my rooftop – speechless. There was also another section that wrapped around the villa, where I enjoyed the sun rising from the other side of the island.
It was hard to leave the comfort of the villa, but the magnificent pool area called my name. A sea of white cabanas and day beds filled my sight – I knew where I would be all day to soak up the Santorini sun.
The Cuisine
Each morning, I was welcomed with an American-style buffet breakfast. Guests can either dine inside or outside, depending on preference. I couldn’t resist the view and ate outside. Thanks to the delicious food and the ocean in sight, I could have stayed at breakfast all day.
For dinner, I highly recommend dining at the Pantheon Restaurant. I arrived for my meal right as the sun was setting – a priceless scene.
Once my food arrived, the view was even better. I devoured the delicious mushroom risotto.
As always, I had to top it off with dessert. My eyes were bigger than my stomach when I ordered the fruit-covered cheesecake dish.
I never wanted my time in Santorini to end, but am happy with my time spent at Pantheon Villas. Whether I was in my villa, at the pool or eating with a view, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
Off to another Greek island…
Bye, Santorini! Hello, Mykonos!
