a private villa to ourselves? yes, please.
Felicity Villas was our first stop on the lovely island of Santorini. Boy, did it set the bar high.
Located in the coastal village of Kamari, the two-story home gave us the perfect view of both the mountains and the sea. As if that wasn’t enough, the private pool and garden in the backyard made this stay an absolute dream.
The Interior
So, why Felicity Villas? Our question is, why not? This place has it all.
The traditional Greek villa was picture perfect with white and blue interior design. We’ll start with the first floor. With two full beds and two twin beds, it comfortably sleeps six. On this floor there are two bathrooms – did we mention the traditional cement jacuzzi in the master bath? Felicity Villas knows the way to a girl’s heart.
Follow the spiral staircase up to the second floor and the luxury continues. There is a living room, bathroom, indoor and outdoor dining space, and a fully equipped kitchen. We suggest saving money and dining in. Enjoying a home cooked meal on the terrace was unforgettable.
The Exterior
It may be hard to believe, but the exterior of Felicity Villas is even more impressive than the interior. The multiple terraces give guests unrivaled views – whether we were admiring Mesa Vuono surrounded by the bright blue shades of the Agean, or simply enjoying a meal.
A walk down the stairs takes you to a private paradise. The pool was our favorite spot to relax under the warm Santorini sun. More often than not, we spent the afternoon reading (or maybe napping) in the comfortable lounge chairs.
Surrounding the property is a wonderful garden – they grow all sorts of fruits and vegetables. The hosts even provided us with some freshly picked pomegranates upon arrival that were absolutely to die for.
Thanks, Felicity Villas, for the incredible stay!
Bye, Kamari! Hello, Akrotiri!
best,
