a must-have movie experience.
Cine Kamari is an open air cinema on the stunning island of Santorini. The Travel Channel and CNN have both mentioned it as one of the top 10 open air cinemas in the world. But honestly, how could we say no to such a cool experience?

The cinema is just outside of Kamari town. If Della can find it on her first try, so can you. Just look for this cute sign on the side of the road!
The movies are in English but have Greek subtitles. While we were in town, we had the privilege of seeing War Dogs. The movie showings change weekly, so check out the website to see what’s on the schedule. Whatever the movie, we suggest dedicating a night of your trip to experience this famous outdoor cinema.
Some helpful hints before you go:
1. Cine Kamari is only open from May to October (similar to a lot of businesses on the island).
2. The entrance fee is only 8 euro. Bring some extra euros for snacks and drinks from the bar!
3. Doors open at 8:30 and the movie begins at 9:30. We suggest going early and getting a front row spot!

Enjoy a glass of wine and a movie under the starlit sky, we know we did!
